About the Blog

This blog is an attempt to document some of the author’s more technical projects and ramblings on subjects of a technical nature.

This blog is powered by WordPress, which makes use of PHP, MySQL, and in this case, Apache, all running on Linux. The Linux server is hosted on Amazon’s Elastic Compute Cloud. In addition to EC2, the Amazon services used to serve this website include VPC, EBS, and EIP.

A light-on-dark color scheme is used because, for me at least, it reduces eye strain. Styling is provided by a modified version of the Pyrmont V2 theme.
